We are thrilled to announce our 21st year of Gator by the Bay!
Bringing Southern California's premier music and food festival in America's Finest City, San Diego,
featuring Live Music- Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Rockabilly, Swing, Salsa and New Orleans Jazz,
Delicious Louisiana Cuisine - including Crawfish, Unique and Beautiful culture and Dancing!
Our yearly fun-filled festival is not possible without the generous support, hard work, and loyalty from our volunteers.

Below is helpful information to assist you with your sign up process. As always feel free to contact us directly.
VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
Please thoroughly read job descriptions and requirements before signing up for a shift. If you are unable to meet the requirements of the job, you will be assigned a different shift upon availability.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
A mobile QR Check In Code will be sent to your email an hour prior to your shift start time. This QR Code is required for the check in process at the start of your shift. If disclaimers are not signed, QR Codes will prompt you to sign the disclaimer before completing the check in process. All volunteers are required to check out with the volunteer coordinator/assistant(s) in order to successfully complete your shift.
GATOR VOLUNTEER PERK
Each volunteer will be given a t-shirt upon check in. GBB volunteer t-shirts must be worn during your shift. Volunteers are welcome to enjoy a day at the festival before or after your shift. If you plan on volunteering for a shift that is before the festival date (ie. setup/cleanup/runner), you will be given an electronic complimentary ticket to a day of your choice (Friday-Sunday).
PARKING
Parking details to follow. We highly encourage carpooling, Uber, Lyft or Taxi!
GBB ZERO TOLERANCE + CODE OF CONDUCT
- No drinking during your shift time
- All jobs + shifts are subject to change
- Complete shift times
- Cooperate with team leads
- Closed toed (comfortable) shoes required
- Treat all with respect, courtesy and dignity
- Shall not discriminate and shall respect ethnic, national, and cultural differences.

RESERVED SHIFTS
Password protected shifts are specifically assigned and reserved through our internal team and staff. If you have previously worked a password protected job in the past and would like to sign up for the same or similar shift, please reach out to us directly for the next steps in booking your shift.
